Hi Bombs :D

I think I should change my blog name to Lipstickdidi.com :p

80% of my reviews are about lipsticks and this yet again is a lipstick review. Today I will be sharing my views on the lakme 9-5 lipsticks in the shade coral incentive. I was introduced to this lipstick through my friend who recently bought this shade online. So basically, I have not purchased it, she has and I'm reviewing it for you all. Lets get into the review and cut the crap right?

About this Lipstick

Firstly I know its too late to review these lipsticks but who cares? Anyway, who is satisfied with just one review, at least I'm not. I'm sure we all go through a lot of different reviews before buying a damn lipstick or anything for that matter.

These lipsticks made debut in 2014 if I'm not wrong and I know I bought two of these to see how it works. Both were good and I still use them. This particular shade however is not that great. This is a mixture of baby pink with a hint of coral colour. It will glide on like a dream BUT its a bad dream I must say. The colour is pretty natural like if you have pink lips it will look very natural. The only problem with this one is the patchy thing it leaves on your lips. No matter how hydrated/moisturized your lips are, they will look patchy after applying this. So if you want to apply it, just blot your lips with tissue once or twice after application. Swatches below.

What I Liked?

Colour
Packaging (sturdy & classy)
Creamy for creamy lipstick lovers
Staying power is pretty decent

What I dint like?

Texture is creamy but leaves a patch
Not worth the price at all

In short, I wont recommend this to anyone, you can get far better options in this price range. If you found this post helpful in any way, please do like and share.

Will see you all with my next post.....taadaaaaaa

About the Lipstick

This is a brightish slash burnt kind of perfect orange , which has a satin texture and perfect for summers. With the price it comes for, I think it is pretty good specially for matte lovers like me. It comes in a golden plastic packaged bullet. The shade is called matte orange though its not completely matte but very close it. I wear it to work very often and stays intact till lunch and then it starts to fade away but not completely. For its price, it is a very good option for college girls or someone who doesn't want to spend much on a lipstick.

Price: Rs 105/-
Quantity: 4gm
Bought it from Flipkart.in

Hola ladies!!

I have acne prone skin due which I face a lot of skin problems since my teenage. I used to think my skin will get better with age but huh nothing like that happened and I still face cystic acne mostly in summers. Trust me none of the fancy products available in the market works on them so I decided to treat my skin with natural products available at home. Well this post is not related to acne or skin related issues but it is related to some natural products which were sent to me by Aroma Essentials. Thank you Madhurima for sending me these to review for all my readers.

About Aroma Essentials

About the products

Madhurima sent me four natural products from their range. She sent me the catalog and I picked four item from it which were a sunblock cream, Under-eye corrector, face mask and the hair blend oil. First of all the packaging is pretty decent & sturdy, you can carry them easily in your bag. The product comes in plastic small containers which has their brand name on it. Please read my take on each product in detail below.

Bright Skin Mask

What it claims: Lightens up the blemishes and pigmentation, brighten up the face
Price: 150/-, 20gm
To be used within six months

Since I have acne issues I avoid using products available in the market as most of them tend to irritate my skin. So I decided to pick this face mask which had the word "bright" in it and who doesn't like bright glowing skin right? The texture as you will see in the picture below is quite thick so you can add a rosewater with it and then use the not so thick paste on your skin. It will cause a tingling thing on your skin for first few minutes but that goes away. When I tried to wash off my face, the paste did not come off like any other face mask which was little weird for me. You need to clean the mask with a wet cloth first and take wash with water. It did not brighten up my face like boom but yes it did not irritate my skin either. So if you want to try something natural and raw, go for this.

Sun Block Cream

This sun screen came to me i when I was travelling to Rishikesh for river rafting and you know the tan that you get there is just horrible. Me and my friends applied this sunscreen the whole time we were there but fortunately the weather was very pleasant the day we went for rafting. I have never tried a home made organic sun screen before so this was definitely a new thing for me and I quite liked. Since its organic it wont harm or irritate your skin and that's the fact I like about natural skincare products.

20gm: Rs 150/-

Hair Blend Oil

This oil is the best solution to dry, itchy, stressed scalp. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle through which you can clearly see the raw vetiver roots. Vetiver is a sacred herb best known for its uplifting, soothing, cooling, healing and protective properties. Once the oil is finished, you can use the vetiver roots with water or any other oil to calm down the body heat which is perfect for delhi summers. I usually use it after heating the oil a bit, leave it overnight and wash them off in the morning. It lasted for a month for me coz I have short hair. You will have to use the product for few months to see a visible difference in the texture of your hair. I think you should give this product a try and specially if you are a working woman/man who wants to relaxed head on weekends.

60ml: Rs 375/-

Cut-short

Natural home made oil
Calm and soothing effect
Contains Vetiver roots
Herb for protective properties

Corrector (Under-eye night gel)

15ml: Rs 150/-
To be used within six months

So I picked this product for my mother who is very frustrated with her dark circles and puffy eyes. It comes in a plastic jar with a cap sturdy enough to be carried in your bag when you are travelling. Corrector claims to lighten the dark area under/around the eyes. She has been using the product for a quite a long time now and I wont say it has completely done some miracle but yes we can see some difference around her eyes. It has reduced the darkness and the puffiness has almost gone.

Cut-short

Organic and chemical free
Gel texture
Contains Saffron, you will see the saffron bits
Feels very light under the eyearea
To be stored in cool place
Travel friendly

What I din't like?

Price, little too much for the quantity it offers

Else every thing is perfect!!!

And with that its a wrap for today, I hope you enjoyed reading and it was helpful in any way.

XOXO

Hi Ladies!!

Recently, I got one of these lip crayon from Faces and the next thing that came to my mind was "Review Time". Well this is all that runs on my mind these days, my blog. Today again I'm going to talk about my favorite thing matte lipstick. I can talk about lipsticks anyday anytime and thats because I love this thing so much. Anyway, without too much of chattar pattar (chit chat) lets begin the show.

About the lipstick

These lipsticks were launched last year and they are available in twelve different shades which are matte/starry matte in texture. Starry matte lipsticks are the ones which have very fine shimmer in them, in case you were not aware. I got my hands on one of them last month when I went to buy a nude lipstick and this is what I picked. The shade I picked is peachy me which is a light pink, peachy colour as the name says. Let me admit that I have fallen for this lipstick and I'm loving this to bits. Not just me, but my friends too love applying this lipstick and they cant stop praising it every time they apply it. It is a creamy matte texture and normally I don't like "creamy matte" lipsticks coz I love hardcore matte lipsticks and I don't like any sort of creamy thing on them. However, this one is matte but a very soft and light kind of matte which fortunately I like. I promise it wont make your lips super dry like any other matte lipsticks. But yes you have chapped lips you need to moisturize them real good else they will highlight the dry lips. Just one swipe gives you the exact colour and glides on like bang bang.

Brand: Faces
Shade: Peach me
Texture: Creamy matte 08
Price: Rs 799/-

Swatches for you all

Good things

Matte yet hydrating, trust me you will love the texture
Super duper pigmented
12 dope shades
Packaging is pretty sturdy
Travel friendly
Very very light on lips
Staying power is good (5-6 hours)
Does not transfer
You will find the colour on lips by day end too.

Not so good things

Price not that affordable
Comes with a sharpener which wastes 30% of the product
Will highlight the chapped areas if not moisturized well

Well, that's my thought on the faces ultime pro lip crayon peach me. Let me know what you think or what was your experience with them.

Lets catch up on my next post,,,till then keep the lipstick game ON <3

XOXO

Hi Girls!!!

These days I just wish I had thick dark brows like Cara Delevingne (heart her). So what if we cant naturally have them , the market is full of brow products these days and you can have the perfect brows anytime you want. Eyebrows are way too much in trend these days so I thought of sharing some cheap eyebrow routine that I follow too. You don't have to really buy anything fancy or expensive but you can use just use something that already exists in your beauty pouch

Spoolie/mascara wand

First thing that you can use if you are a beginner is a spoolie that you can buy online or just use the mascara spoolie which I do. You can brush your eyebrows with the mascara spoolie with a little mascara on it and you are good to go. Trust me, this will make a big difference on your face.

So, once I was done using the spoolie for an year or so, I thought of moving forward and experimenting with my brow routine. I then decided to go ahead and buy a brow gel or one of those pencil kinda thing. After going through a lot of reviews and research, I decided to buy the Essence brow gel online.

Essence brow gel 01 Brown

Bought it from Amazon.in
Price: Rs 399/-

> Pretty good & affordable for beginners
> Colour 01 is perfect for the Indian brows
> Not a sticky formula
> Lasts all day for me
> Sturdy and perfect packaging, can be carried anywhere easily
> Feels very light on brows
> Water and smudge proof
> Does not come a brush
> Not available that easily

Lakme eyeconic Kajal in shade Brown

The day I saw the colorbar eyebrow pencil (chestnut) reviews everywhere, I started thinking of the dupe for this brow pencil, cheaper one. I had this lakme Kajal in brown for a very long time but never used it. After watching the colorbar pencil I tried experimenting with Lakme pencil and it worked amazingly. It felt like an achievement though.

> Dark brown colour, very close dupe for colorbar chestnut
> Cheap
> Perfect for the ones who are new to this field
> You just need to carry a spoolie or an old mascara wand
> Easily available
> Does not smudge all day
> Waterproof as well

How I work with this

I place a generous amount of brown kajal in the spoolie and try to paint my brows till I'm satisfied. If you are in a hurry, you can run the pencil on the mascara wand and simply brush your brows and you will thank me later :)

You can also do the same with a normal smudge-proof kohl if the brown colour does not go with your brow colour.

Maybelline New York Eyestudio Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara
in Dark Brown

If you are not that pro with your brows but also at the same time need some kind of grooming up there, you can get your hands on the brow mascara's. This one is from Maybelline and I wouldn't recommend this simply because of the price it comes for which some $7.00 and Rs1000 in Indian currency. I got this from one of my friends so it was a gift.

> Gel formula which sets in few seconds and stays all day
> Wand has a ball thing in the end which not at all suitable for thin eyebrows. I think I'm gonna cut that ball thing away or maybe cut it on the side.
> Consistency is nice
> Compact packaging, easy to carry
> Pretty expensive
> Availability issue
> I run this mascara over my brows when I'm in hurry and it does a pretty decent job.

Well this is my eyebrow routine and some hacks that I thought of sharing with you guys. I would love to know how you deal with your eyebrows and if there are any hacks that you are aware of.

Will see you with my next post!!!

Hoila ladies!!!

Today I have this eye shadow palette from the brand Mua makeup academy which I think I'm hearing about a lot lately. This brand is based out in the UK but their products are available in India in some online shopping websites like Amazon, Jabong and Flipkart. I ordered these from Amazon.com.

Original Price: Rs 720/-
Bought it for Rs 489/- after some discount

About the product

It has four beautiful shades (rose-gold, silver, black, golden), perfect for Indian skin tones. the colours are decently pigmented. As you can tell from the pictures below, they are quite metallic and shimmery which makes them appropriate for a heavy night look. But obviously if you can carry them anytime, its all dope then. You may also the silver and golden shade as highlighter.

You can use it for smokey eyes, wedding look , parties and day functions as well. I used them for a night function look and the colour remained on my eyelids and brow bones for quite long, even after my dangerous dance. I wouldn't say its the best thing available at this price but yeah if would like to try out the brand or if you are a beginner, you may go for this one but only after discount. Without further nonsense, let get into the swatches.

Pros

Colour payoff
can be used wet and dry now that's awesome
Packaging is compact
Great for festive season
Day and night look both
Staying power is pretty decent

Cons

Price is a bit on higher side, but after discount its okay
Only available online

So that's all for now, time sign off and see you all with a new post.

hola ladies!!!

I have been off from blogging lately due to work and several other factors :p. But today I thought of reviewing some lip creams for you all which I have purchased from Sarojini Nagar. Yes you heard it right. Sarojini also offers beauty cosmetics at some really affordable price and since I'm so fond of matte lipsticks, I picked few from this market.

Price: Rs 50/-
Texture: Matte af
Brand name: Silstar

You will find a lot of creame lipsticks in Sarojini however all of them are not good in terms of texture, staying power and colour pay off. There are different local brands available so make sure if you do plan to buy one of these go for this brand called Silstar. There is also one brand Me-on but their lip creams are way to sticky on lips and waste of money :p.

These are super duper matte so you need to moisturize your lips real bad and you are good to go. I apply these almost daily at work and trust me girls they wont get off that easily from your lips what so ever. You will have to use a lip balm to get rid of it completely.

Enjoy the swatches below.....

What I love

Matte texture
Pocket friendly
Pigmentation
Staying power
Dries within seconds after application

Cons

Availability
Nothing else

Let me know if you would like more of such lipstick reviews on local brands and I will be happy to do them. See you with my next post.

taaadaaa!!!

Hello Women _/\_

I saw girls going crazy for the Kylie Jenner lipstick shade and I couldn't understand what was so great about it?? Then, I was more into dark & bold colours so couldn't feel the craze for nude lips. But now, I'm discovering a new me who wants perfect nude lips, though I still love bold colours. Recently, I have started following Santoshi Shetty from THE STYLEEDGE (check her page out right now) and she, I think wears the perfect nude shades. She kinda NAILS it!! I'm so obsessed with her lipsticks that I think Kylie Jenner will fail in front of her :p

I dont really have any nudes in my little makeup bag coz I dint find any till date. But let me tell you all that I have found that perfect nude for me and so I thought I should share it with you guys as well. This one is from the Maybelline colorshow mate lipsticks range and the shade is "Mysterious Mocha". So I discovered this shade in the one of the priyanka chopra lipstick video by Shreya Jain. When I saw this shade on her lips, I made my mind that I will have to add this in my pouch ASAP and the next day literally the next day it was with me.

This is my second lipstick from the Maybelline colorshow range and the first one was not that great. You can checkout the reviews here -----} http://tordugaila.blogspot.in/2015/10/maybelline-colorshow-creamy-matte-in.html

About the Lipstick...

It is a creamy matte lipstick. Glides on like a pro and settles into matte finish. What I like to do is, apply one layer, blot with a tissue paper, apply another layer and then again blot my lips with tissue. This way it kinda stays for a long time plus gives a perfect matte lips. This one is actually the colour of my lips which is light brown. This is the perfect nude for my lips but if you have pinkish lips you can apply this with a pink lipliner/lipstick as a base and it will give you the perfect pink nude kinda shade. When I'm bore with the nude brown, I usually do this and it works dope. Below you will see the pictures with pink and brown mixed.

What I liked

Colour
Texture (matte)
Staying power is pretty decent
Price is affordable

What I din't like

Nothing really

I hope this review was helpful and if it was, please do not forget to hit the follow and +1 button. Also let me know if you have already used this colour and what did you feel about it.
