I will be sharing some amazing uses/benefits of using aloe vera.  Aloe Vera is one of the most famous plants in the world, and is has been used for its medical properties. 

I have aloe vera plant in my house and I make the best out of it. Well, I also buy Patanjali aloe vera gel and it works for me as good as the original plant. Lets start with the uses of this greatttt thing which I personally do as well.

Hair Wonder

It is a wonderful natural product for your hair. You can either use it before washing your hair or as a leave in conditioner, as per your convenience. I use it before going for a head wash and leave it for about an hour or so and I also use it as a conditioner. Trusttttt me girls your hair will be a lot more smoother and shinier. Currently, I'm using the one from Pitanjali as you can see in the picture below. This retails for about Rs 65 approx and you will find it in any of the Pitanjali stores in India.

FOR FACE

You can use aloe vera gel for your face. I have acne problems and apply this gel in a hope that it will vanish some day some day you see. Anyway, you can apply aloe vera gel or take the gel out the plant directly and apply at night before going to sleep or may be before taking shower in the morning. You can actually apply it anytime anywhere and yeahhh. 

NATURAL AFTER SHAVE CREAME

Aloe Vera is anti-inflammatory and because it has hight water content it is very hydrating. It can also be used as an after shave to prevent burns and cuts.

MAKEUP REMOVER

                                               

Aloe vera is a perfect alternative to removers, plus it is so natural. Refrigerated Aloe Vera Gel soaked in cotton balls also provide a great compress for tired, puffy eyes. Try it and lemme know gurlssss.

   ALOE VERA BENEFITS FOR FEMALES

   

Aloe Vera tonic is wonderful for the female reproductive system. It helps to rejuvenate the uterus. It is very beneficial to drink aloe vera juice if you are experiencing painful menstrual cycle. Again you can use the aloe vera juice available in pitanjali stores. My mum gets her bottle from there.

NATURAL HAIR STRAIGHTENER

I dont know if you all will believe this technique or benefit but yes it does to some extent straightens your hair after wash. What I do is wash my hair and straighten them with a straightener and it just works amazingly. You can follow the below steps if you feel like :p

• Take half a cup of aloe vera gel, and half a cup of olive oil or coconut oil or sandalwood oil
• Mix aloe vera gel with one of those oils
• Add essential oils, if the hair is thick, can add the ingredients if it is less(optional)
• Massage into scalp and hair evenly
• Leave for about 2 hour
• Wash hair with shampoo and rinse with lukewarm water.

Do not towel dry your hair instead just comb it once and leave it to dry. Your hair will feel like never before :O

So today I'm going to talk about my pixie cut, my story from long to chopped hair. I don't know why did I even think of chopping of my hair off like all of a sudden. So I saw these videos and images of short hair and I made my mind just like that. The picture I have posted above was the one which actually created that thought in my mind of getting a pixie cut. So, it all started from this damn picture and then I went through a lot of videos (like hell lot of videos) on youtube. Finally, one day I just went to this salon called Gitanjali in Vasant Kunj. The lady at the counter was little shocked coz I had decent length. Before I could even say something, the hair stylist grabbed my hair and cut my ponytail. He proceeded to cut, chop and lop off  hair as my heart was pounding with every clip. Once it was done, my head felt so light and I looked so different and i dont know what like. Below I'm posting my picture (before and after).

PROS:

I feel more confident, Sexy, sophisticated and what not man.
Makes your life so damn easy
It is so coool in summers
Short hair is so chic right now
Haircuts and color are a lot less expensive



CONS:

It will take forever to grow ladies
You will have to trim it atleast every two weeks
You will have to wash it everyday but in my case I dont have to. I wash them after two days or even more :/
You can no longer play with those hair


Well, these are the only pros and cons I could think of. Yeppp, so if you have any suggestions or questions or anything I will be yapppy and happy to answer them.

Yesterday I went to Sarojini Nagar not the main market for shopping but to eat something nearby. I could't stoop myself from buying these sexxxyy pair of earings.

I got these from Sarojini for Rs 200/- , so 100 each.

I just love watching blogs and videos of lipstick collection, swatches, makeup stashes and almost everything. I wasn't a lipstick freak before but from past one year I have developed this obsession for lipsticks and since then it is just growing and growing. I don't really have that much to share with you guys but just wanted to share whatever I had. Let get rollling.....

So I will start from left to right :

Coloressence moods in Maroon-19: I got this shade online for about Rs 180/- or something near to this. It is a VERY dark shade than it is coming in the picture. It is like a dark plum shade but it doesn't look plum on lips well this is what I felt. It looks almost black when applied on lips so I was not that impressed. But gals if you are into darker shades like these, you can definitely give it a try.

MAC Impassioned: Mac lippies are amazing, you all know it right. I like everything about this lipstick from the staying power, pigmentation, colour, to texture except the price :p. It is a bright pink colour with no shimmer nothing and it is not creamy but I guess it is matt or becomes matt after few minutes of applying it. I wear this colour to party and at work as well.

Next one is a local lip crayon which I bought from a local parlour. I liked the colour and it was super cheap so you know. It is pink colour with red undertones so it looks red or you can say carrot red on lips. The only drawback is obviously its staying power and the texture which is creamy. I'm a matt lover so Naaaahhh.

Colorbar wild card: This is a dark red colour with maroon undertones.  It is perfect for asian/Indian skintones & it just brightens up the face like a diamond yeah you heard it right bro. I wear it at work and this is becoming my new fav now. Got this for i guess 900 something, mattt and amazing to wear.

Maybelline MATT 1: I absolutely love this colour like lowwwwvvveee it. This one is my baby for work, parties and everywhere. It is a bright pink colour however with multiple swipes it look neon-ishhh but a very comfortable one. I think this will suit any skintone and you all must mustt musttt try it out. I got this for Rs350 approx and as the name says it is matt.

Loreal Orange Power: This one is my second baby for my bright and dull days. You know when you dont feel like wearing any makeup but still want to look hawtttt, this is the colour to go with. This colour will grab attention for sure as it does for me. I got this from shoppers for Rs 900 approx but it is worth the price. This is mattt and texture is amazinggggg.

Maybelline POW 4: Texture is very creamy and moisturizing, glides on smoothly and stay for about 6- 7 hours. This is very light baby pink sort of a colour. It is not matt so ummm no love coming for this one.

RIRI cosmetics 2024: I know the name is quite weird becaaaz it is a local lippy which I stole from my friend as the colour was so efffing attractive and appealing. It is a bright red colour like a proper red though the picture is not that appealing but I'm in love with this RED. Moreover, it is matt yes and I LOVE MATT  so my third baby this one is.

LAKME 9-5 Magenta Mind: This colour has a story. I ordered lakme 9-5 plum pick from Paytm and they delivered this colour that too after ages but then I liked the colour so I was not that disappointed. It is a dark bright pink colour which will again suit any skintone. It is creamy when you apply it but has a mattt finish. It cost me Rs 380 approx.

LAKME 9-5 Plum Pick: And then I had to order this colour which I finally got. This is a plum shade, glides smootly, has a matt finish, pigmentation is great, stays for about 3 hours.

Lakme Enrich shade 145: It is a pale coral pink that comes out as a bright coral in direct harsh sunlight and a pale coral-pink in natural light. On my lips, I dont know but it looks little brownish kind of a shade and it is too creamy so nayyyy for me. My friends just love this colour but I wish this was matttt in texture never mind. It retails for Rs-220/- in the market.

Maybelline 14 hours "stay with me coral": The is a bright coral pink colour which will flatter any skin tone. I love the colour to bits and the texture is also matt but it is a sticky kinda matt and probably thats why it promises 14 hours stay. Glides on smooothly, will dry your lips after application, sticky yet matt, will not get off that easily so you might have to use make up remover or a moisturizer to remove it completely. It retails for about 450 approx.

So, I have some more hacks for you all which I have tried in the last two days and thought of sharing it with you. Lets get started

SMOKEY EYES HACK



With your eyeliner, draw a slanted hashtag at the outer corner of each eye. Blend it really well and you will get that smokey look without a lot of work.

LIP GLOSS DIY



Eye shadow broken? Dont throw them away instead make your own lip gloss with them. All you gotta do is crush the eye shadow into powder and mix it with petroleum jelly and tannn tannnnaaa your lip gloss is readyyyyyyyyyy.....awesome right? I know :p


DRIED UP MASCARA??



Now you dont have to throw the mascara just because it has dried up. Add few drops of Saline solution and it will work like it did when you bought it.

THICKER EYELASHES DIY



Dont bother with expensive lash pumping mascaras instead dust some translucent powder on your lashes between coats and trust meeee it will make your lashes more fuller.

MAKE YOUR PERFUME LAST LONGER

Firstly apply perfume to your pulse points like behind the ear, inside wrist, inside elbows, behind knee etc. Rub some petroleum jelly to these areas and then apply your perfume. This way the smell will stay for a very long time.

why not spray a #little bit of it on your hairbrush and run it through your hair? That way, every time you move, you'll be able to smell your perfume! I've tried this trick for weeks and I love it!

BAKING POWDER




If you dont want to bother yourself with manicure expenses, get that baking soda lying in your kitchen. Mix baking soda with hot water and 2 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Mix all and soak your nail for two mins or more.

Baking Soda is also used to lighten dark underarms. It can be used to make an exfoliating scrub to get rid of dark underarms. This will help remove dead skin cells, which is one of the main causes of dark underarms. It will also help unclog skin pores. But do not use this on regular basis, you can do this one or twice a week.

This is also used to fight acne. I have been struggling with acne since high school till date. I'm using baking soda, lemon and honey mask, keep it for 10 mins and wash it off. You may also scrub your face with baking soda. I do this twice a week and I think it is working on me quite well. But regular use of baking soda on your skin is not good that's what I feel.

RED OR ORANGE LIPSTICK

You won’t believe this insane trick to get rid of your dark circles. Yes you heard it right, lipstick for darkcircles.......

Apply red or orange (depending on your skintone) lipstick under your eyes, put concealer directly over and proceed with your regular makeup routine.

I LOVE SHOPPING (Obsession, Addiction....don't know man)

I can shop anywhere, anytime whether its online, offline, this line or that line...don't care. I don't usually buy anything or everything online however this time I just did it. So i will be sharing my views and reviews about the product that I've got. Lets get starrrrrrrrteddddddd.......

So these golden pair, I ordered from streetstylestore.com. I heard a lot about this website as my office friends ordered shoes from here. I checked this site out and it looked pretty affordable with some really amazing collection both for summers and winters. I got these for Rs 499/- which I think was too much but now I think they are available for Rs 333/- in some offer. Anyway, talking about the shoes, they are very comfortable no doubt BUT not that sturdy which I also did not expect. Its been two or three days I have been wearing them and they are already disappearing(you know what I mean right). Ohhh and of-course the delivery (ohh my holy Lord) their delivery is pathetic, it took almost a month to reach me and that too after chasing them again and again and yet again :|. Having said that, I have again ordered a  pair and I know it will take another month but kya karu dil aa gaya tha jooto me yaaar :p.

 The other thing I got online was this bright (not that bright in the picture though), striped crop top from Koovs.com. Well the length  looked quite ok in the image online however in real it is actualyyy cropped like crop crop. I have not paired this up with anything as of now but looking forward to wear it with high waist denim and slip ons to go with it. It was on sale for Rs 240/- and so I just grabbed it.

Next I got these two lippies from paytm.com. These are the lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks which I got for Rs 383/- each. The first shade (first picture) is Plum pick which is beautiful magenta pink, doesn't show that dark in the picture. It is way more darker and will definitely suit Indian/Asian skin tones. It glides on smoothly but it is actually matt so might not work for people with dry or chapped lips. It stays for about 3 to 4 hours but it just settles in fine lines which looks sick. The other shade (second picture) is Mild magenta which is a bright pink and it clearly brightens your face and this is the only thing I like about this lippy. These are decent matt lipsticks but I'm not that impressed so I would give them 06/10. 

The last thing I got online was this Make up revolution blusher in the shade Hard Day. The packaging is yayy and it is travel friendly as well. I bought this from Jabong for Rs 400 something includng tax and other delivery charges. This colour to me is pale pink sort of colour and it can be used as a highlighter for sure. Below is the swatch for the blusher.

So this is a glimpse of what my next post is gonna be about and yes it is my favourite lippiessss <3 <3 . Well I have this insane obsession for lipsticks these days and all I see is lippies every damn where :|. I will be sharing reviews and swatches of the ones I have and I hope you like them.

NAMASTEY all you sexy ladies out there. Today I'm gonna share some of the beauty hacks that I'm aware of and tested as well. So, leta get starrrrrteeddddd :D

First one is our very own, since like ages

PETROLEUM JELLY : Now this is a great ingredient for getting thicker and large eyelashes which I'm too much into these days. You can apply petroleum jelly before going to sleep on your upper and lower eyelashes. I have tried this for two weeks now and it is bloody working dude.

FINISHED MASCARA: What I do is just use that mascara brush to shape my eyebrows and it also leaves behind a pinch of black colour which looks very natural and greatttt.

CREAME TO MATT LIPSTICK: Im a superrrr fan of matt lipsticks however if I want to make any of my crene lipsticks to matt what I do is just apply the lipstick normally and blot it with a tissue paper, apply some compact powder or may be some loose powder and you are good to gooooo.

LIPSTICKS: When you dont want to mess up with your makeup just use lipstick on your cheekbones, brow bone and lips and then jsut blend it all with your fingers. This way you will not look all natural.

BROWN PENCIL: You can use one simple brown pencil to contour your face , this is a simple trick for all the beginners out there.

WHITE EYEPENCIL: You can use a white or bude eyepencil to make your eyes look more awake and bright. You can also use white eyepencils before applying any eyeshadow. This is will enhance the true colour of your eyeshadow.

BABY POWDER: If you have greecy, oily or dirty hair just apply some babypowder to the roots of your hair at night so it settles down till morning and you are ready to go.

BLOWDRYER: If you want super duper curled eyelashes, just blowdry that eyelash curler and use it. It works like no ones business.
